Welcome to the breakdown of a dance sequence THAT’S KICKS!
This choreography is very dear to us, we spent many hours polishing and creating those kicks that fit to this fabulous song by Sammy Price. In this video we are breaking down the sequence, teaching every step slowly with detailed explanations. Join us as let’s do some dancin’!
You can change the speed of the video in the settings panel if you need at any point.
I took the Thats Kicks class to practice on fast songs and to keep my pulse and see something a little different, and it was a bonus to learn some great rhythms and flows from Pamela and Tadas. The fact that they talk about improvisation after learning a choreography in the class and that there is a separate section on improvisation, giving ideas about it and talking about it is also mind-opening. And I think thats one of the things I was really looking for. Thank you so much for putting your effort here and for generously sharing your knowledge with us !
Hugs from Istanbul!❤
Learning and practicing this choreo gave me so much freedom in my dancing!
It has everything we love – and rhythms, and shapes, and slides, and turns. A lot of different stylings I have never though about – like heel slides and rhythms or half breaks. I think it’s perfect for experienced dancers who might feel like they don’t know what to practice. Gives so much inspiration for farther practices as well. Willing to do the next lesson as well ❤️
It’s enough material to have 2-3 solo jazz practice to learn, style and polish, and I was looking forward to practicing so much.
In the end, I pulled some of the moves from the choreo that was “in the body” for the solo competition and it was very successful ❤️
There is something to find for everyone – broadening vocabulary for less experienced dancers and sweating on some moves for the ones with advanced skill set. Had a lot of fun dancing with those two inspiring people!
The classes with Tadas and Pamela are spectacular.
In addition to learning about musicality, rhythm, culture, style, steps … you learn to connect with the true power of swing music.
It’s pure magic. They fill your heart with enthusiasm and motivation.
I really want to continue learning with both of you ❤️❤️
Many thanks for all 🙂
